Recommendations for Floating

Every person's session is unique, and what others have shared may turn out very differently for you. Don’t set specific expectations—just show up and have a powerful experience.

This gives your body complete freedom and enhances relaxation. Our floating room is private, and the shower is located right next to the cabin.

If you have trouble relaxing or clearing your mind, focus on your breathing and notice how it helps.

Relaxation might take time during your first floating session, but try to forget about the clock and enjoy your experience.

FAQ

What should I bring with me?
You don’t need to bring anything in particular. We provide ecological cleaning products, a towel, earplugs, and a neck pillow to ensure a pleasant floating experience. If desired, you can bring your own personal or preferred cosmetics (e.g., deodorant, face cream, hairbrush, etc.).

What else should I consider before floating?
It is important to come with an open mind and no specific expectations for the session— everyone’s experience is unique. Avoid comparing it to others’ experiences.

A couple of hours before your appointment, avoid stimulants like coffee or energy drinks, and do not arrive on an overly empty or full stomach.
On the same day, avoid shaving or waxing as the salty water may irritate the skin. People who have recently dyed their hair should avoid floating unless the dye is fully set and does not bleed into the water (we can provide a swim cap if needed).

Can floating be used for recovery?
Floating is very well-suited for recovery because the water contains a high concentration of magnesium, which has restorative properties.

How many times should I attend breathwork sessions to experience noticeable changes in my life?
Even after the first session, you might notice some changes in your life. We’ve observed that initial shifts often occur during 4–6 sessions. To see more significant changes, it’s recommended to attend at least 10 guided breathwork sessions.
In general, the number of sessions depends on how deeply you wish to work on yourself and how much cleansing you aim to achieve. Sometimes going through protective mechanisms may require additional time.

How often should I float?
Even every day! A very effective routine includes weekly floating sessions, as a week represents a typical cycle of highs and lows, and a single relaxing floating session fits perfectly into this rhythm.

Do I have to speak and share during the group sharing circle?
No, you don’t. Sharing at the end of the circle is completely voluntary.

I didn’t experience any emotions. Does that mean I didn’t release anything?
Releasing doesn’t only occur through emotions but also as physical sensations in the body. If you feel waves of heat or cold, tingling, etc., it often means that deeply suppressed tensions in the body are being released.

Who are these services intended for?
Absolutely anyone can benefit from these services in some way.
However, floating is particularly helpful for athletes to replenish magnesium levels, for pregnant women to reduce prenatal discomfort, and for individuals seeking relief from stress and its impacts on their lives.
